This section is devoted to the gardens of Vancouver. The City of Vancouver and the surrounding region must surely rank as one of the parts of the world that have the highest percentage of area and effort dedicated to some form of garden landscaping. This extends from garden balconies and building/house lawns to major world class garden attractions. This is made possible by our temperate climate and lack of any continuous snow cover during what we call winter.
Please note that our choices listed below also provide the opportunity for interested individuals to acquire new botanical, gardening, landscaping and cultural information and perspectives. Each is worthy of the effort to visit.
Vancouver's major attraction, Stanley Park, has enough gardens to keep a visitor busy and delighted for the whole day.
